Fall Table Decorating Ideas: Aqua

Ok, I gave in to peer pressure and decided I REALLY wanted to get in on this little party over at The Lettered Cottage! All of the fall decor is making me so happy {sooo happy I bought a Paula Dean Sour Cream Pound Cake yesterday and have eaten half of it}..... Ohhhhhh, my jeans better fit after that one Paula D.!

The Lettered Cottage

I tend to stick with my warm smoky aqua no matter what the season.. Here's what I put together using things I had around the house! The only purchase I made was the paper place-mats because I just happened to be at Hobby Lobby buying some fabric this morning and the Faux Wood Paper was to die for! It also came in green! Super cuteness.. Oh the things you could do with this stuff - decoupage furniture, wall frame art...

Hung Wicker Wreath with suction cup, Wreath .50 cents from a junk store

Loving the wood grain paper

Books make everything better, linen folded as table runner

3 Hand Painted Pictures: Made by mother when she was young! She is an amazing artist who doesn't give herself enough credit.

Mason Jars: See where to get these little guys for free!

Scented Potpourri I've kept for ages.... Frames from thrift stores (piled in my closets).

Old books... I'll show you my collection some time!

Suction cup to hang wreath, added Eucalyptus

You can find these wreaths at most hobby stores!
Now we MUST have a sit down dinner tonight!!! Is it ok to put Chick-Fil-A on a fancy table like this??!?

Ok........I hear you saying, "lazy...."

I guess I'll cook a real meal

  3. This is absolutely stunning and perfect for this time of year. It's summery but still looks cozy. I love the idea of using the books under the centerpiece to add some height too.
